Sci fi illustration roughs

I am at a complete loss as to where to take this background compositionally, so I have blocked in a few options. And her body, I can't decide if she's going to have tentacles or arms, I think the arms work well however.

Input is welcome, very welcome, as  I would love to finish this painting for my portfolio! I may still include this in my 'folio as a block in stage to a painting. Thank ya
